  If you absolutely have to climb outside and there is literally nowhere else to go then boatrock is for you. Mostly slab granite rocks are just a few short hours from much better southern sandstone. The area is cleaner than it used to be: meaning 4 or 5 used condoms on the ground per boulder instead of 10. I haven't heard of anyone's car being broken into in a while so it's safer. Honestly just go to stone summit for climbing. Boat rock isn't worth it.
